““Porta Nuova may look like a cold, modern architectural place, but it is actually full of conviviality, where people of all ages meet after work to shop or sip an aperitif. I wanted to translate this relaxed, warm atmosphere into a fragrance.
Olfactively speaking, a soothing almond accord, which is central to my creation, evokes the typical Amaretto liqueur. I topped it with the best citrus fruits: Italian neroli and bergamot from Calabria. I also strengthened the mellowness of this accord with a very sensuous, ambery background. It’s absolutely addictive and Italian.”
